Opening hours and admission

The entire museum reopens June 4th

The entire museum is closed until june 4th. For inquiries about previously purchased tickets, please email informationen@nrm.se or call +46 8-519 540 00.

The validity of annual passes purchased during 2023 are extended throughout 2024.

Reason for the closure

The public operations of the Swedish Museum of Natural History are closed due to a structural collapse risk in the museum's premises. Read about the background of the closure in our press release.

Admission fees and ticket purchase

Cashless

The museum is cashless. You can pay by credit card or Swish.

Exhibitions

  • Adults from 19 years: 160 SEK.
  • Children and youth up to 18 years: 0 SEK.
  • Senior (with identification): 120 SEK.
  • Student (with a valid Mecenat card or equivalent): 120 SEK.
  • Annual pass (unlimited visits): 350 SEK.
  • Combination ticket (the exhibitions and Cosmonova): 250 SEK

The exhibition ticket grants you admission to the museum and our exhibitions. The ticket is free for children but needs to be booked for our statistics to be accurate.

Cosmonova

  • Adults: 150 SEK.
  • Children and youth 2–18 years, school visits: 100 SEK.
  • Combination ticket (the exhibitions and Cosmonova): 250 SEK
  • Teachers during school visits: 100 SEK.
